Rendition
Rashid Salimi......Rashid Salimi........Rashid Salimi (pronounced Rakhsyeed Sahleemee) kept ringing in my head after I came out of Hall 7. So very hypnotic.Yesterday noon, this gloomy looking poster caught my attention and knowing me, I enjoy misery. So I paid a little more attention to it than my usual fit for movie ads.
I didn't really read much into it but the moment I saw the row of casts, I knew right there and then that I HAVE to watch this. Meryl Streep. Reese Witherspoon. Jake Gyllenhaal. Interesting mix of talent. Back to Rashid Salimi. I came out of the hall feeling a sense a satisfaction, as though finally, my ten bucks matches its worth of cinematic experience.
Meryl Streep is one heck of a woman. Amazingly charismatic. I think she is one of the very few women who is able to really live up the character. As I once heard, if an actor has the ability to make you build the emotions up; be it anger or even laughter, he has done his job. She brings it to a higher ground. In Devil Wears Prada, she plays the role of Miranda and she ensures she receives the hatred she intends. I may have given out a positive expectation of the movie but really. Watch this. Either ways you will not regret it.
